I teach AICE/Cambridge Sociology. I do not like the way the book that is being used for the current syllabus (it will remain the same for the future syllabus as well) organizes the information. For example, towards the end of Chapter 1, it briefly touches on globalization and expects students to "get it", but they don't. The book never explicitly teaches globalization in advance. I will teach globalization in advance before starting Chapter 1. This lesson deals solely with Globalization. I have my students take Cornell Notes for this PPT.
